RE: standing ovation for Rummy--I don't know if he started it, but the President proudly stood up for Rummy during the applause.

If you missed Memorial Services at Arlington, you missed a blessing. When the President was introduced, there was a roar from the crowd, the loudest I have heard there. When Rummy was introduced for his speech, the crowd gave him a standing ovation, even the Prez stood. Rummy was moved. Rummy praised the President a bunch and the crowd clapped. He praised the President's courageous and bold leadership.

The President gave a moving speech and he got emotional a time or two (as usual).
