There IS point to be made by a death in the situation under discussion and God would honor it. God defined it again and again in the Bible. It is the ultimate act of Faith in Almighty God. A man MAY get into Heaven even if he caves as this poor soul did (and Peter did for that matter) but a man who DOESN'T cave WILL get into heaven.

Yes, I know that. Each man is led by his convictions and God will honor that. So will I. I can easily imagine someone saying the opposite and being killed. An Amish would do that for instance. God not only gave the gift of life, He gave the gift of Freedom also. That's a gift we are to extend to everyone.
