Did Mohamed Atta meet an Iraqi intelligence officer in Prague five months before he slammed a Boeing 767 into World Trade Center? Fresh evidence bolsters the view the attack on America might have had Ba'athist fingerprints.

Edward Jay Epstein, best-selling author of 12 books on politics and history, has followed "the Prague Connection" since its outlines emerged in autumn 2001. Peruse his findings at edwardjayepstein.com.

Why do U.S. spooks seem so cool to the Prague Connection?

Might it have something to do with the fact that the Chief of the Spooks is a Clinton appointee? Whose head, IMHO, should have rolled about September 12, 2001, if not sooner.

Opponents of the war on terrorism are doing some mighty mental gymnastics to avoid coming to the conclusion that Hussein was not only neck-deep in international terrorism, he may have been involved in 9/11. There is a lot of smoke out there, and the heat from the fire is becoming noticeably hotter. Not just one but a number of different analysts have come to that conclusion. The deniers can no longer keep their heads stuck in the sand and ignore the evidence.

I haven't made up my mind about Epstein,BUT,Hussein was known to have had connections to the Fedeyeen well before 9/11: in fact, before the 1st Gulf War.

The CIA spooks aren't cool to it- it's the unnamed sources at the NSC and the press that have alsways been pooping on the story. The same people that think Richard Clarke and Joe Wilson are sources.

Uday Hussein was the head of the Fedeyeen, though the Fedeyeen are mostly palestinians, not Iraqis.
