john f. kerry the DSA party candidate!!!!:-(
This technocratic statement reflects F'n Kerry's problem.
He just doesn't get what being a leader means. Bold choices, and strategic thinking are beyond him.
This election is clearly Bush's to lose-because Kerry cannot win with this kind of low level bureaucratic thinking.
"Beware of the presidential candidate who just sort of says with a big paintbrush we're going to make everything all right overnight," the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is quoted as saying.
Who is he talking about? I've heard GW Bush many times say the war on terror would take a long time with many setbacks and victories we, in the public, would not know about. Is he talking about Nader? He needs 6 months to pull out. Or is he talking about himself?
I swear I have not understood one thing Kerry has said in the last 6 months.
.
JOHN KERRY has always "De-emphasized" Democracy as he did all that he could to support our Communist Terrorist Enemy Leader HO CHI MINH against US during the Vietam War.

Kerry -- the despots' choice.

we've been talking about this on some of the other threads - this fits right in. Kerry wants US troops to be used as part of a UN OCCUPATION of iraq - he doesn't want autonomy there. iraq does not want to be occupied, the only thing that has kept the insurgency from becoming a full blow uprising has been the promise of autonomy - phased in, but still something.
follow the Kerry plan, send another 40K troops to iraq, take away any hope of autonomy, turn it into a UN run state - and you'll really see an uprising there.
"Beware of the presidential candidate who just sort of says with a big paintbrush we're going to make everything all right overnight"
Hmmmm? Does anybody ever recall President Bush ever making such a statement or even hinting at having such an opinion as "we're going to make everything all right overnight" ..??
