I read somewhere (Can't remember offhand) that the story had changed to an American being dragged through the streets. I do not know how accurate the report is.
Ok, that makes the second American dragged behind a car in SA in the last few weeks and the Media is still on Abu Ghraib:

I heard/read the same thing somewhere.
Taking a little break from the kitchen. Been a rather hectic day. Have 14 people coming for what was supposed to be a "cook out".......with the inclement weather, it is now a "cook in". We are honoring my father, one of the "Greatest Generation" He was in the South Pacific, 1943-1945. He is now 87 years old.(Retired Air Force) In spite of the bad weather, my Dad, Mr. RR , our son, and son-in -law are all at the golf course. Daddy still walks and carries his own golf bag. He's a pretty amazing guy.....my hero.
A blessed and peaceful Memorial Day to all here. Don't ever forget "my hero" and all the others who fought and died to keep us free.
