Probe as three jetliners catch fire

AVIATION officials have launched an investigation after three fires aboard identical new passenger jets of the same airline at Manchester Airport.
The three planes involved were Boeing 777s operated by Pakistan International Airlines. The fires broke out in the undercarriage area after the planes had landed.
On Tuesday, more than 300 passengers were involved in the blaze drama after PIA flight PK789 had landed and parked at terminal two at 8.55am.
