Well, this pretty much settles the "do they have nukes?" question in my mind.
IF they had nukes (apparently not), the threats against airlines wouldn't be necessary.
As oceanview is fond of saying..if they had the capability, they wouldn't be focusing on the "low tech" route.
I tend to agree, FWIW.

It does seem that a group of people (AlQ) whose history has been to use every day explosives and flying planes into buildings, does not have much expertise with nuke or bio or chemical. There is just not enough historical evidence of to prove these guys can do anything else. This doesn't mean that I write off nukes, but it does seem like the nuke threat is diminishing. Nuke talk on the Internet may just by disinformation, but I never say never...

planes and trains concern me the most right now, with respect to domestic incidents inside the US.
the longshot event - VX or Sarin. that story about the alleged Jordanian attack has been totally buried.
