No problem. I will continue to add to it for more reference points, I already have the grand goal of teaching Arabic after I have mastered it (that'll be the day!). :-p
You'll be surprised at how fast that your Arabic will come along if you practice it every day. I had the advantage of total immersion when I first learned. If you can get one of the Satellite TV providers and the Arabic stations, and start watching Arabic TV you will find that you learn very quickly, at least in terms of understanding and conversational Arabic. Reading is just a matter of practice.
