[Donna Lee Nardo]

I adore Steven Wright; saw him in the '80s in NYC at I think it was the Biltmore. I believe I first saw his HBO show and was impressed. One of my favorite SW lines as best as I can remember:

"I like to tease my plants. I water them with ice cubes."

And he had so many others that I like. Of course his matter-of-fact, deadpan delivery makes all the difference. And his hair! I loved his crazy hair.

Yeah, I can start laughing just thinking about Steven Wright.
"I got home last night, walked up to my door, put the key in, turned it, it started. So I drove it around for awhile".
