I don't know for sure what happened to the art but that looks like the reflection of a U-Hual in the front door. Wonder if she got those suckers to pass the hat for her.

And I don't see her or the U-Hual when the crowd is there. And the place is locked up. And that newspaper sure does cover that window well.

Does it look to you like those guys with the hats are scratching their heads and saying "I thought Lori was going to be here..."?

RGS: There is no question in my mind that she would never pass up an opportunity to run a scam if she thought she could pull it off. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if there's some sort of fund-raising effort going on.

kcvl: Here in the bay area, it's common to put newspaper or some other covering over the windows of a closed shop that's being vacated. My guess is that if the U-Haul is hers, it will be taking her furnishings and fixtures -- possibly some or all of the art as well, but I doubt she'll be absconding with any of it. She's drummed up just the sympathy and public display she wanted and to burn the artists would be, shall we say, counter-productive at this point. If she's transporting the art, it's most likely to store it safely while the shop is "under attack." In that case, the artists will make arrangements for its disposition.
