Yes ... when you've been through that stage - and mentally begin planning contingency manuevers - like pulling over and looking for a bar ditch to hide in (I've had a few times where I was mentally surveying that as an option - as the winds shifted at night and couldn't see a thing) - it's time to change 'field tactics' radically and enforce/abide by a new set of 'safety rules' ...

Mine is odd......when I try to install the update I get an install program for something else, not Stormlab.
Weird.
Several tornadoes have been reported in/around O'neil NE..warnings still out..any freepers there?
We were always told that mountain tornadoes wouldn't happen either, but they do. I'm almost 7 thousand feet elevation but I got hit by one last summer. It made me a believer too. It did a lot of damage to my house and other property but I was Blessed to receive only bruises and a few cuts. It was the worst experience of my life. I thought I was going to die. The noise it made was unbelievable. It blew the windows out of my house and shook something terrible. I thought for a minute it was going to launch. It's the only tornado to hit in this part of NM. It jumped across the highway and hit a bunch of houses then it took the roof off of a convenience store.
Stay safe! Head for the shelters if you even think one may drop down out of the clouds.

I have had the same thing happen in the past, oddly enough with an earlier version of StormLab.
Appearently what was happening was there was another "setup.exe" on my computer that it was picking up. Once I found it and deleted it the update installed fine.
You might try clearing out your Windows temp folder.
