I think the point was to make life easier for the victims of the road closings.

I don't think I'd want to have to explain the arrogance of the MBTA (read: dependant on federal mass transit funds) to my
fellow (D)'s on the House transportation committee.

Here is another example of Democrats trying to minimize the amount of cash that they pay into the public interest. They could easily pay the $1 mill to make things free but they're too greedy, just like they are when it comes to taxes. They all say they want them higher but then take every chance they get to minimize the amount that they pay.

I think the City of Boston is missing a tremendous opportunity to benefit the country. They should not only make the subway ride free but also make it exclusively available to the Democrat conventioneers. Fill all the subway cars and ....................seal the exits ;-)
