Oh, so Iraqi captors kill one of our soldiers and it's barely reported anywhere.

Seven or so American captors humiliate Iraqi terrorists and it's reported 24/7 for 3 weeks.

Why are you shocked. Something very interesting is happening right now. The story of the "Prison Abuse" scandal has shifted from the scandal itself to the press' incessant coverage of it. The partisan media got so damn giddy at the prospect of bringing down Bush, they overplayed their hand and now look like fools (well, what else would fools look like?). They tanked the Nick Berg story and changed it to a Bush bash by covering Berg's father, and they out and out ignore what was going on in those prisons when Saddam was in charge. In short, they failed to put Abu Ghrahib (sp?) in perspective.

I'm sure Fat Teddy Kennedy and Chrissy Matthews will be screaming about them violating the Geneva Convention Rules any day now ... /sarcasm >

Peeetaaahhh Jennings, last evening on ABC's World News Tonight, managed to wring another drop or two out of this much overplayed prison story. He was interviewing some graduating West Point cadets and brought up Ghrahib issue, asking the cadets what they thought of it, etc., they responded by saying they felt it was a lapse of leadership by U.S. Army personnel at the prison.

The left lack respect for life, so the report about killing is just like a report about yet another abortion. They feed their own narcissism by "keeping up appearances", regardless of the truth.

So correct, unless of course, it is a child who somehow escaped abortion. Then that child must be protected from everything including their own parents, because the liberal know best. Everything is for the children who escaped abortion, nothing for adults.

This guy was murdered? No s--t, Sherlock. Did anyone but me see that horrible video on the web from Al Jazeera last year? It was the dead soldiers (presumably from that ambush) lying about on the ground in a makeshift morgue. They looked like they were sleeping. And they seemed to have bullet holes in their foreheads. Didn't seem like your regular combat wounds to me! I was horrified that the parents of these soldiers might see the same video....the soldiers were so recognizable, there would be no doubt as to their identity.
