I'm so sory about your son, too. I wasn't around here at the time, so please accept my belated condolences. I have two small boys, and one sounds like yours (and what Nick at least seemed to be to his friends) - all heart for people.

One of my best friend's husband is a physician who is the same way... Die-hard conservative. But he is always - 3 times a year - traipsing off to third world countries to help the poor.
