Unfortunately George W. Bush didn't make the LBJ speech last night. You know, the one in which he announces he will not seek or accept his party's nomination for president. That's a shame, but there's still hope. The GOP still has three months to switch candidates.

And a full time idiot...for crying out loud..where was the barf alert..now I need a new keyboard..
Iraq is not about to become an Islamic state if only because the major parties--the Sunni Arabs, the Sheata and the Kurd's have very different things in mind. There is also the possibility, which no one is is talking about right now, that the Islamic Republic of Iran might implode within the next year. Hence the chief legacy of Jimmy Carter would disappear, right like that, and with it some of the team who go out of the Third Jihad, the latest attempt to muslimize the world.
Most Democrats are somewhat slow and very ignorant. Paul Mulshine is a pig.
Weapons grade naivete is what all Leftists share in common.
Didn't realize you were interviewing Mulshine next week, work those questions out, I'll definitely be listening.
"I don't see this plan for democracy happening right now. I think Iraq needs a Saddam-lite."
"...Bush's team allegedly wanted "to divide up Syria, give part of Iraq to Turkey, overthrow the monarchy in Saudi Arabia, restore the Hashemites to the Hijaz."
"The underlying motivation" for this, Baer said, "is Israel. They think the demographics are going badly for Israel, for the U.S."
"I don't agree that Hezbollah itself is a terrorist organization. It delivers powdered milk; it takes care of people. It's a social organization; it's a political organization. It fights corruption. ....Hezbollah itself does not care about American citizens running around Lebanon, as it doesn't care today. I mean, as an ex-CIA officer, I can go see Hezbollah, I can talk to them. They don't care. ..."
"What can we do about (Iran)? We can only cope with these problems inasmuch as we solve the problem of Israel and Palestine. If we can implement U.N. Resolution 242, we can internationalize Jerusalem, do something about the right of return of Palestinians to Palestine. And then go to the Middle East and say, "All right, now it's time to implement other U.N. resolutions." ... But it really does boil down to Israel, in a lot of ways. ... "
Good grief! A three year old monkey could have written this trash!
Are you suggesting that Baer is nothing more than the garden-variety "knowledgable source on intelligent matters", with Arabist leanings, who services leftist media fantasies?
And if you notice, Robert Baer is always on the cable shows. He's always on Fox and MSNBC.
Mulshine and others of his ilk seem insistent upon reading into Chalabi their own predispositions and pre-judgments.
Somehow, I don't think this latest "feeding frenzy" is going to provide much nourishment...
