They need those things to protect them from the few...
You can put me down as believing that Iraq is 95% stable also.
I agree with MLY1288, Texasforever and CWOJackson.
It sounds as if you're looking for a soundbite. The President delivered a comprehensive speech.
Thank you Miss Flower.
OK so the commander in Chief is not making the calls on the big battles. What was the Marine commanders reason for this decision tex?
I don't agree with your assumption that the speech fell flat. I believed the President was speaking as much, if not more, to the Iraqi people and those Americans who are concerned we "don't have a plan" and "we don't know what we're doing".
I'd never answer the democrats. They would find fault no matter what the President said. Why bother with them. And .. who gives a rip what the world thinks. They aren't spending the money and giving their precious children.
When public figures come forward to lead, they know they could be assassinated, that's part of the risk involved in the transition from a dictatorship to a Representative democracy, something you simplistic, single issue, mental midgets, can!!! and will never understand.
Joe.... You are a defeatist and I suggest you take your sour and useless opinions to a site that suits you best... DU is where you belong, it represents your "Blame America First" viewpoints, as well as your!!!! "I'll side with any enemy of the U.S.A crowd"
Think of how this operation started: with that Muslim-American a-hole Sgt. from the 101st lobbing those grenades into the commanders tents in Kuwait. He murdered one officer and injured a dozen others. Fratercide to start the campaign. That was March 22nd, 2003.
I wasn't here, but I'll bet there was clamoring here for us to just retreat and Nuke the entire region then and there.
It's absurd the levels of ignorance and deceit some people harbor.
Oh man...... LOL!
Thanks :-), But "Baghdad Joe" has a following, the problem is..... That following is backing our enemies....... VERY SAD!
You're welcome. I definately agree with you guys.
Joe is a stubborn little guy.
Yep. He is doing what should have been done in Viet-Nam he is letting the military, on the ground, make the decisions. As to why the commander did what he did, it was for the same reason you have been whining about all night; he was giving the Iraqis a chance to fight for their freedom. Joe you are too easy.
Most of them are simply pursuing a political agenda against the President. Look at how they reacted when the prisoner abuse stories first hit...it was over; the war was lost and the President was toast.
I seriously doubt many of them care about Iraq one way or the other, it is simply a tool to attack Bush.
Still looking Tex?
You know it's true, Just admit it?
It is sad. You guys are so good at taking him on.
Joe is just mad because we are not machine gunning busboys on the border.
OK so the commander in Chief is not making the calls on the big battles. What was the Marine commanders reason for this decision tex?
he was giving the Iraqis a chance to fight for their freedom.
OMG, LOL! With that tex, I bid you good night. Yeowza! :O
Can we frag some lettuce pickers?
The problem is that Joe is clueless bomb thrower with little to offer but..... CRAP!
