VISTA, Calif. -- Officials arrested a Saudi man living in Vista on Thursday who federal officials say has ties to the 9/11 hijackers.

Mike Unzueta, a deputy special agent with the Immigration and Customs Service, said the Hasan Saddiq Faseh Alddin, 34, was connected to two of the deceased 9/11 hijackers who lived in the San Diego area.

Alddin came the area as a student and became a permanent resident by marrying a U.S. citizen, according to officials. His arrest on immigration charges resultied from two prior convictions for domestic violence, reported NBC 7/39.

Actually nothing surprises me, as it was only a year or so ago where someone that was in our country illegally was at the White House and had direct access to the President and Vice President. Scary stuff eh?

White House, federal agents failed to detect this person who used a false identity and fraudulent documents and was employed for at least two years as a supervisor of tent installation for *White House* social events.

Posing as “Kelvin Rodriguez,” a Mexican citizen named Salvador Martinez-Gonzalez worked for HDO Productions Inc., which bills itself as “the nation’s most respected provider of special event tent and accessory rentals.” The company designs elaborate outdoor settings for galas, weddings, and government functions.

This person that was in our country illegally kept photos of himself and the Cheneys as souvenirs.

If people that are in our country illegally can gain access to the White House, you know out here in the hinterlands is an absolute "free for all".

American muslims are well aware of the terrorists and potential terrorists living among them. It's long past due that they should demonstrate their loyalty to the US (instead of bellyaching about being profiled) by turning their terrorist brethren in to the authorities. But will they? Of course not. They terrorists must be rooted out by law enforcement. So what does that demonstrate?

I agree that the US should halt all immigration from Muslim countries. I watched Ashcroft's alarming speech yesterday accompanied by his "WANTED" posters, and figured that if the government continues to allow thousands of Muslims into the country, then we should sue them for incompetence.
