There's a lot of similarities between the terrorists who worship the Koran and the militants who worship the Second Amendment. Both believe in a higher authority that compels them to murder innocent women and children for no constructive reason.

McVeigh and Nickles did not worship the second amendment, although they were allegedly angry about what happened at Waco. But the government did kill innocent women and children at Waco. Even if you discount the fire, a few were killed in the initial assault on the "compound" by the BATF. They certainly don't "worship" the second amendment, in fact their very existence is an affront to the Constitution. Now I don't worship the Constitution, but I did take an oath, several times in fact, to "support and defend" it against "all enemies, foreign and domestic". I take that oath seriously, as do many others who took it, whether recently or decades ago.

He cannot do so. When you make a pact with the devil, you keep your mouth shut.

I will always remember McVeigh being asked the question in an interview if he had any foreign connections to the bombing. He said "no, if I had, do you still think I would be alive?".

Was Nicoles a Moslem? What are the odds that a Moslem terrorist organization in the Philippines would cooperate with an infidel American. Would they have given the technical and material support given Terry Nicoles if he were an unbeliever? Hmmmmmm.

If I were a mainstream Muslim I would feel like I had a duty to vocally criticize Osma Ben Laden and Islamofacists terrorists. I would feel like they betrayed my religion and endangered me and my family.

Well, I'm a conservative who believes in a responsible defense of the 2nd Amendment, and I feel like I have a duty to repudiate the Timothy McVeighs, Terry Nichols and other clinically psycho 2nd Amendment terrorists who believe they have a moral duty to kill innocent children and adults.

How do you classify yourself? Do you believe that Nichols and McVeigh are true patriot heroes? Would you bomb an elementary school just to draw attention to your cause?

There's a lot of similarities between the flame war inciting trolls who infest Free Republic and compulsive pederasts who molest little boys.

Both believe in a higher authority that compels them to molest little boys for no constructive reason.

One disgusting non-sequitor deserves another.

Admin moderator: do we really need this flame-baiting troll on this forum?

"But the government did kill innocent women and children at Waco. "

I share that opinion, but I don't think that gives me the right to blow up a child care center.

How about you. Do you feel like Waco gives you a license to kill innocent women and children? Did Waco give McVeigh and Nichols the right to bomb the federal building.

Perhaps you can explain to us why McVeigh and Nichols are saints, while the 9/11 pilots were bad guys.

Have you publicly denounced McVeigh and Nichols, or have you called ATF officers "jack-booted-thugs."

Do you hope they will win on appeal or do you hope they will be executed as swiftly and painfully as possible?

As President Bush said,"You're either with us, or you are with the terrorists."

Do you denounce McVeigh and Nichols or not? It's that simple.

Why would he include something in his book that raises questions about the the lone "ditto-head" bombers, McVeigh and Nichols?

Because it serves the larger purpose of associating "ditto-heads" with terrorists.

That's odd... that's really damned funny, Moby: I am one of those "militants who worship the Second Amendment" and I don't believe in a higher power that compels ME to murder innocent women and children for ANY purpose. You are mistaken, and probably a Statist

The funny thing about Statists (communists, socialists, and fascists alike) is that well-documented history plainly shows in incontestable reams of examples that they ALL kowtow to a notional "higher power" and have no compunctions about slaughtering the innocent (abortions, mass-murders, Waco, Ruby Ridge, purges, death-camps, gulags, etc... ad infinitum et ad nauseam)

It seems, Moby, that you are displaying what psychologists call "projection": Like a thief who believes all men are thieves, you know your own evil desires and motives, and project your base nature upon all who oppose you.

A suggestion, Moby: STFU.

Wasn't Nichols wife (Padilla??) reported to be the reason of his visit(s) to the Philippines...I remember reading something to the effect that she wasn't really interested in marrying him.
Is there a connection between this Padilla and the one arrested in Chicago (?) on the dirty bomb scenario??
The Left has been arguing that Saddam and BinLaden wouldn't have worked together because of their beliefs and more and more info seems to be coming out to dispell that line of thinking...if the terrorists thought that they could use a couple of dupes to make a bombing run and test the power of this sort of bomb don't you think that they just may do it?
Threaten their remaining family members with unthinakable tortures to keep them quiet and to take full responsibilty for the bombing and the whole thing wraps up nicely for them......except for the fact that there are people like Ms. Davis out there looking for the truth!!

You're an ASS. Just because I think your wrong to compare people who believe in the traditionalist view of the Bill of Rights doesn't mean I'm in league with terrorists.

Go F yourself if you can pull get your head out of the way.
