sems to me to be an open-shut case of proper exercise of first amendment rights, and any case based on this complaint ought to be thrown out of court with a fine tacked on to the plaintiff

If the church advocated electing certain politicians, then the gays might have a case. But if the church just focused on the issue of gay marriage, then the complaint is nonsense. Of course this is in regard to only the IRS codes. I'm not too familiar with the MT law.

They will try to say this is a separation of church and state thing, and pull the tax exempt status from the church.
Scary thing is it just might work. There are enough Californians moving to Montana that the state is lurching left.
