Herman Cain is the South's Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. You know an era in which public servants were really public servants. You have a White House that wants a Senator who can cut deals with the Democrats. Georgians deserve better: they deserve a Senator who puts principle first and who works to safeguard their state's interests in Washington. That's who Herman Cain is. A conservative vs a RINO. Its no contest.

Go HC go! It's about time we had someone running for office who's not ashamed of being pro-life.

One question though: Anyone know why many defenders of the unborn, politicians as well as others, refer to the pro-aborts as "pro-choice" while their side would never be caught dead using the term "pro-life"? Just wondering.

Herman is a leader, not a politician. We need more like him.

I also like that he is pro-life and wants to dump the income tax code in favor of a national retail sales tax.

No he has not. It's still a 3-wya with collins, cain, and isakson.

Isakson is the rino, professional politician.
Collins is the conservative republican, professional politician who strongly supports the Fair Tax.
Cain is the professional problem solver who is pro-life and all about the Fair Tax.

I don't think anyone will drop o nhis own, but july 20 will surely end in a run-off with two of them. Let's hope for a run-off between cain and collins!

I haven't heard the ad yet, but I do look forward to voting for Cain. Trouble is, I expect many people may miss these ads but not Isakson's. Guess we'll see.

You have a White House that wants a Senator who can cut deals with the Democrats.

Why are you implying the White House is endorsing Isakson?

Damn!

I was hoping he'd drop out and stand for re-election in the House, which is a sure thing for him, and let Johnny and Herman battle it out.

That ol' Senate Siren Song is a very loud tune, isn't it, to a professional politician?

"Let's hope for a run-off between cain and collins!"

Dream on, Principled. Let's hope we can keep Johnny below 50% on July 20 with Herman in 2nd place so they will be in a runoff. Herman has a shot under that scenario because he would probably pick off more of Mac's votes than Johnny would.

However, this isn't going to be easy. I read in yesterday's AJC that Johnny has $4.5 MM in his campaign account. I saw his first ad within the past week. You can expect a barrage of Johnny ads between now and July 20.

The next 2 months should be very interesting here in Ga.

Cain has been very emphatic about his beliefs and his agenda. The White House hasn't been too keen on a conservative domestic agenda. I'm sure if it was a populist agenda they would go for it, however, there are too many old guard Republicans who enjoy their power.

Cain will rattle the roof.

Johnny's website had an announcement a few days ago "calling on all conservatives" sad thing is the man cannot relate. He's snubbed his nose at conservatives, now when he needs them he acts like he's their master.

What I really thought was hilarious was the author of the post Rusty Paul says that Cain is a political opportunist... Now how can he make that charge when his own man is the king of opportunism.
