Remember when Moore said he had people in Iraq doing filming for him? What if one of them was Nick Berg?
That is the only logical explanation that I can come up with.

Great minds and all that!

i don't know why you're all stumped on this. Moore filmed an interview with Berg, who was an American in Iraq. Berg was not sufficiently anti-American policy, so it was not used in teh film. Moore and teh Berg family do not want America to see the footage because it would now be viewed as a final pro-Bush testament from a murdered American. Moore created the footage, he did not get it from terrorists. This is a cover up and Moore is a left wing scum bag.

Either that, or he is trying to get the family's PERMISSION to use the film contents.....hmmmm.???

Am I way off base? Iv'e reread the damn thing so many times...now I think
"he has footage unused in the film of Nicholas Berg" is Moore referring to his own film, not the video of captive Berg.
I'm so confused!

Ask yourself this: Why would Nick Berg, a "strong supporter of the US presence in Iraq", consent to a 20-minute interview with Michael Moore? Conspiratorially, I think that the footage (if it exists) shows a very anti-war Nick Berg.

I must say, that's one heck of an interesting speculation.

Remember when Moore said he had people in Iraq doing filming for him? What if one of them was Nick Berg? Something else to ponder: What if the beheading video was shot on Berg's (Moore's?) own camcorder?

Ever since it came out that Nick Berg was climbing the communications tower at Abu Ghrab, I've wondered why, what was he doing up there, and, once the pictures and video came out, was he responsible.
Certainly your thoughts about Moore having people do filming for him makes me even more curious about Nick Berg.
