It was Law and Order - Special Victims Unit; I saw the rerun on USA Network a few weeks ago. The detective played by Iced-T explained that many black men have sex with other men, but claim that they aren't homosexual, since they had gay sex "on the down low" (in secret). According to the show, such men have wives and children and everything.
I'm just glad they chose to call it "on the down low" and not "on the qt." It would be even more disgusting if they called themselves "cuties" instead of "down lo men."
