I lost a lot of friends due to my stand for Ford against Carter. They won the election and America lost.
I lost some friends, too. One of my friends said about Carter,"He will probably be as conservative as your friend Mister Ford was." I said, "Fat chance." Turns out I was right and she was wrong. Unfortunately, the country suffered for it. I told some of my friends later that when Billy Carter died, we lost the better half of the Carter brother combination!!!!!!!!!!
