The problem is on the govt side. McCain personally told Harry that.

It not a Boeing issue and several audits and IG investigations prove it is a valid option and cost effective.

Condit WAS a creep. Gone now and Harry is a good man.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is shifting more of its software programming work to India and other countries, a trend that worries union officials who've already seen the company off-loading to its partners large tasks of manufacturing and aircraft design.
Boeing's shedding of lower-rung programmers parallels the company's plan to shift much of the manufacturing work on its new 7E7 to outside partners. The trends have led some observers to question the $3.2 billion in tax incentives that kept the 7E7 program here.

Boeing, Hughes settle technology transfer charges
St. Louis — Two U.S. companies agreed to pay $32-million (U.S.) to settle U.S. government charges that they illegally provided technical data to China after Chinese rockets launches failed in 1995 and 1996.


The State Department announced the settlement Wednesday, resolving 123 charges against Boeing Satellite Systems Inc. and Hughes Electronics Corp. for violating the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.The companies were accused of providing forbidden information after two unsuccessful launches of Chinese rockets carrying American satellites.
