That is the big slip up they made.

They needed to finish their news conference today with a DIRECT APPEAL to DEFINITIVE, QUANTIFIABLE ACTION which people could take and would make them feel empowered, rather than the usual "be aware of your surroundings" vague, crap.

"My fellow Americans, in conclusion, we ask that those of you with access to the internet and printers, immediately print your own copies and distribute them to stores, churches, clubs, mosques, schools, rental car agencies, anywhere you see fit to spread the word. Please keep a copy of the photo with you in your automobile or place of residence. We can all have a positive impact, as the eyes and ears of National Homeland Defense. Thank you". ....is what I would have liked to have heard.

Agreed.

There is NO EXCUSE for not empowering the public by telling us *precisely* how we can help.

Getting your local shops and stores to post these photos is a start. I know my car's rear window will get one.
