I've never seen Emerson and would love to see him. I think he was in hiding, like Salmon Rushdie, for a few years after his book came out.

The first time I saw him was probably in '95 or '96, and his comments just panicked me. I could not for the life of me understand why his concerns were apparently not being listened to in DC. No one seemed to be listening to him at the time, and it turns out that that was actually the case.
