I watched some of it and they looked quite serious this time. I did not hear (maybe they said it when I was in the other room) them say to go about our business like they have in the past.

Also, this seemed to be an important speech that only a handful of people saw. Local channels did not carry this and it would seem to me that they should have. I also think this needs to be re-broadcast in the evening so those who work can see this.

Thanks. Home grown terrorists are a risk we ignore at our own peril. Grew up on a California goat ranch, Catholic mom, home schooled, he can pass for the kid next door. And a rather sincere explanation of his conversion, one of the peacful Muslims clearly. Since you made the connection, you might consider posting his article as a thread. It's worthwhile reading.

Sounds Jewish. Perhaps Jewish conversions to Islam are rare, but not unkown? Question mark because I don't know, but I had the uncomfortable feeling that Nik Berg might have been in the process of converting to Islam. Every society has its share of sympathizers with that society's enemies.

General suggestions:

a) Print out on high quality printer, the graphics of your post #16 (showing the Wanted Seven);

b) Run off a bunch of copies, expanded in size.

c) Freepers call every imagineable mosque in America, starting with ones within driving distance. [Use the Yellow Pages.]

d) Be polite in the following request: Tell them you would like to come down to the mosque and place this up on their community board.

e) Record the name of any and all mosques which hem and haw, doubletalk, refuse, are defensive, or are less than commital in response to this reasonable, patriotic request.

f) Spread the names of any and all uncooperative mosques on a running thread here on Free Republic and/or on talk radio, in letters to the editor, in community forums, etc. etc.

A lot has been said about Muslims in the United States, and C.A.I.R. and others say they have been unfairly painted as being as less patriotic than the rest of us. It figures that if any of the Wanted Seven have recently been in or near a mosque in the USA, they can be apprehended more easily through this grassroots approach. So now is the time for Islam in America to stop the whining about persecution, cooperate in this effort, and PROVE THEIR LOYALTY.

Their patriotic assistance will go a long way in establishing the goodwill and acceptance they seek. However, their intransigence, well, they'll just have to deal with the public relations fallout over THAT.

I noted Muller sounded nervous as well

I thought Mueller sounded unprofessional. He continually interject uh's throught his answers. Ashcroft was great. I like Meuller and have confidence in him but I wish uh he would uh speak with uh more uh confidence.
