Seems to me that by going public in a high profile way, they force the jihadis hand to move as soon as possible.
OTH, AQ is smart, intelligent and basically underestimated by us, not in specific threats, but the overall dumb ragheads in caves schtick and they may so deep underground in the US, they are confident enough to wait for a time of their choosing before pulling off what they want to do.
Any operational crew requires a support staff.

will the major papers put these pics on their front pages???Will they stop covering the prison mess...??Catching terrorists does not advance their agenda - abusing terrorists does. The majority of the media are terrorist enablers and sympathizers. When we do get hit again, the left and the media will blame it on President Bush's policy on terrorism (The Bush Doctrine) and his decision to invade Iraq as the principle cause.
How can ordinary American citizens put a powerful and totally corrupt media out of business without destroying our First Ammendment Right to freedom of speech?
