It will be instructive to see if there were any contacts or overtures with DPRK agents, seeing as the bugger was billetted in NIIGATA for a number of months. NIIGATA being one of the main transit places for agents provacateur from North Korea. I've always thought a marraige in hell could be made between al-Qaeda and the DPRK, considering their common enemies are the United States and Japan. What better delivery mechanism and infrastructure (outside the Association of Korean Nationals in Japan: Chongryong) to deliver WMD to the soft underbelly of the second largest economy in the world (and ergo, US bases, too), via illegal islamist operatives in Japan.
