Local Conserv morning talk show guy in DC said that dispite all the libs teaching at campuses, once Lib kids get a taste of real life (eg, see their first pay check and how much taxes are taken out) many see the light and turn conserv. He had lots of callers who gave their moment of waking up stories; libs and ultra libs who experienced something and now they are conservs.

I myself was hung up on jfk and voted for Carter when I was in school, but my own turn around came when good ol Ronny came along and changed my life.
