I don't know any men who would rape a child, or pay a child prostitute for sex.
They might kill a few sexual predators...
But then again, I make it a point to only associate with people who have a moral compass.
Not even close to "all men" act or think that way.Real men rear sons and daughters. They don't rape them.
Men are not the enemy, sexual perverts are.

Beyond sick because they're taking advantage of kids who are starving to death. If I was on the brink of starvation with no family, and someone offered me food for sex I'm not sure what I would do.

I'd appreciate the opinion of other freepers on this.
My understanding is that the "Blue Helmets" (UN peacekeepers) were the
vector that brought HIV/AIDS to one Southeast Asian country, spreading it
by their happy purchase of sex-on-the-cheap from the starving, hungry natives.
I can't remember which of the unsettled countries of Southeast Asia was the subject of
this "offensive"...may have been Laos or Cambodia.
But it was a missionary that made this statement on KKLA radio in Los Angeles
a couple of years ago.

You would do anything needed to survive.
True hunger is very different from not eating your choice off the menu.
First, you feel dizzy and disoriented.
Next comes the intestinal cramping, physical pains.
It hurts. Bad.
But it gets worse, when your body stops demanding oral food, and starts begging for oral fluids.
If you start off well fed, it takes a few days to understand the pain of physical starvation.
Fluids don't work.
A healthy body that was formerly adequately nourished can sustain malnutrition for over a month, if adequately hydrated. After that time, it starts to hurt.It hurts really, really bad.
Almost agony, but the worst is yet to come.
The actual physical agony of physical
starvation is a thing that some people pretend they can imagine, but it's a thing that can't be understood unless one has experienced it.
That level of physical mortal pain, few in the USA can even grasp the concept, never mind the reality.

Thanks for all of your comments, they were perfect.

UN "peacekeeping" personelle escalating the buying of women and girls the Baltic states I remember hearing something about that, but, it didn't get much media coverage. There's also the oil for food scandal. None of it gets much press. I think there is a book about UN corruption too- they spend all kinds of money on wild parties exc.... Darn, can't remember the name of the book.
I can't believe that anyone in their right mind would want us to turn the security of our nation over to this bunch of weasels, but,
that's what the dems want to do= totally insane

Ther is nothing perfect about what I say or do.
I just deal with life,as best I can, as it presents itself, day by day.

I am where the buck stops. Blame me, personally, for everything wrong in the world.

Let's see how many of the major media pick this story up, and if they do if they don't try and sympathize for the poor and lonely UN worker that is so deprived of sex that they figure this was a win/win situation for both the refugees and the UN worker.

Where the blue hell is the outrage? If it was Americans, the NY Slimes and the rest of the press would be calling for impeachments.
