It's all very frightening, because most of us have a sense that we can't deter everything....and much time has passed since 9/11. I'm just thanking God that the adults are in charge these days. I believe they're doing their level best. God help us all if Kerry is elected in Nov. The terrorists will see it as much a victory as the Spanish elections last March.
Annie, I could not agree more with what you wrote. Very, very frightening, although adults are in charge right now. What if Kerry wins (shudder).
All of us should. I do not have the slightest doubt that I could construct a bomb and place it undetected in most public places. It's not that hard.
We can't prevent everything.
We just have to do the best we can, and I am glad we have a President who is doing just that.
We probably will get hit again.
That will strengthen America's resolve.
Bring it on, terrorists. You will fail.
