Isn't that what MTV became, around 1990?

They already have a mostly gay channel. It's called MTV.
Although I disagree with the FCC part. I simply use the clicker and if I'm really mad, use letters to advertisers. Market should decide.

I have some classic suggestions for the LOGO fall lineup:
Ball in the Family
My Three Dads
I Love Louie
Buffy the Fempire Layer
Leave It for Beaver
The Sopranus
Third Rock from my Bun
Queen Acres
When Harry Met Sammy
...and of course, Sex in the City

How about somebody launch a channel for heterosexual viewers
Be called all kinds of insensitive adjectives

this is one of the many reasons I've been boycotting cable companies in general and don't subscribe to ANY cable or dish service. It might seem foreign to some people, but it's awesome when you actually find hobbies that you never thought you would discover! I get a lot of home-improvement stuff done, along with a lot more reading!

Yeah, Spike, "The Network for Men" shows Star Trek: The Next Generation. Any guy who watches that is Metrosexual, at best. Any producer who picks Deana Troy as the lead female sexual interest also watched "Designing Women." And I'm sure any straight women would complain about the Castrato men on the show, too: Riker as the male lead romantic interest?
Ok, I had a female friend who loves Picard, but she was a little wierd.

Pretty good list there. I'd add ESPN 2 because they sometimes pick up some pretty good college football games. Other than that I can't think of anything else.

Your list here captures the ones I used to watch, save maybe the weather channel and sports, until we dropped cable. Oh, and the Biography channel was pretty interesting. Oh well, can't say I miss it terribly.
Given this "new" endeavor, I wouldn't subscribe again for fear my kids would catch the channel while surfing.

Lets not forget Will and Grace(NBC), Queer Eye(Bravo), Ellen(ABC),etc. Advertisers already can target the "Gay" audience. This is just more indoctrination of the young and impressionable minds.

Star Trek TNG is pretty weak. I like to catch Stargate SG-1 on the Sci-Fi channel

Or at least bump a popular channel and assign the gay thing it's number because it "fits better there".Aw, crap. Sci-fi is on 69. Now I'll have to find where they move it to.
My question is: How do you market a channel to Gays and lesbians? Isn't that like marketing a channel to both John Wayne and Anna Nicole?
