Superman actor Christopher Reeve has blasted American President George W Bush for failing to increase federal spending on embryonic stem cell research. Reeve, who is paralyzed from the neck down following a horse-riding accident in 1995, told 625 graduates at Middlebury University in Vermont, America that Dubya's "inaction is unacceptable". During his Sunday speech, the 51-year-old said, "As president he has a responsibility to the greatest good for the greatest number of people."
Hey Reeve... have Soros fund your stem-cell research for less money than he is spending on politics.
Sorry, but he asked for it.

I'd like to see his quotes before I turn on him. I've always liked Reeve. If he disagrees with some sense of propriety then I don't have a problem.
I suppose Bush FORCED Reeve to go horse jumping like a jackass?
"As president he has a responsibility to the greatest good for the greatest number of people."
War on terror first, Cancer second, etc. etc. etc. whiny liberal former actor guy last. Get the picture reeves?
And Reeve didn't give a damn about it...untill it affected him.
I am reminded of a joke, as I hold a dollar bill under my chin.
Selfish jackass.
I feel for Reeve. He seems very bitter to me. I wonder if he even knew what stem cell research was before his accident.
The research revealed this week in getting back broken mice to walk again had nothing to do with stem cells.
Why isn't Reeve keeping up to date on what's going on in HIS WORLD, or is it much easier to maintain ones LIEberals Hollywood friends by bashing President Bush.
No, that would be Karl Rove who did that!~}
LOL!!!
---"Which means me, as I am only interested in this because I stand to benefit."
He was nearly killed doing something very dangerous nine years ago and all he can do is criticize the President for not doing anything to make him better.
Typical Liberal behavior.
Which can only mean:
Reeves is what passes for a regular guy in the Democratic party these days.
Did I miss anything?
Hey Christopher, perhaps you think it is all right to use murdered children for scientific experiments but, to many of us, that would be the height of inhumanity.
When I hear these pompous asses and their leftist drivel that pours forth during these "commencement speeches," I know why I'll be skipping the opportunity to attend any commencements in the future!
I knew it, it was Bush's fault that Reeve fell off of his $250,000.00 horse.
