Well, to be honest, in the Army, unless regulation on women's haircuts have changed over the past few years, they must have their hair either cut or bound (pinned, etc.) so that it will fit under their soft covers (caps). Advise me if this has changed. I instructed at leadership schools, sometimes, when not in the field or doing combat schools.

The photo is presented for civilians with ideas about amazonian feminism. ;-)

You are right. I did not look at the caption or name.

I saw the photo and assumed, quite rationally, that it was a man.
