Yes, Kudzu would REALLY present a problem. LOL! I do have a nasty little plant called Knotweed that just seems determined to take over the world, but certainly not with the gusto of Kudzu.

I suppose dandelions and crabgrass are protected species under California law? All my front yard needs is ranch dressing and croutons...
