LOL!
I'll bet you're right.

"They said I did an un-Christian thing," Michelle said. "They said if there was a problem, I should have reported it to them first. But I feel I was right to let other parents know what their children are doing." The principal was right. The mother should have reported the problem to the sisters and teachers first. However, it's hard to believe that the teachers and the principal didn't know the meaning of the bracelets.
All this goes to prove that Catholic children aren't safe in Catholic schools either, which is one of many reasons why we homeschool.

Point being, flipping out over this behavior is just going to incite more of it. Riiiight.

Ok, there is something about that image that has bothered me since I first saw it.
There is something wrong anatomically. There are a couple of things that just look out of place.
1. look at the hight of the 'panty line' what is that thing? is it some kind of girdle? Why did she choose white? It looks like a hernia truss to me.
2. Look between her hands. Now, if you look at the right leg you will see the fold where the thigh meets the pelvis. that fold is easily five inches below the hernia truss.
3. Now look a little further to the right of that fold...
I had to stand up to see if what I was seeing was positioned normally. It is. From that image I'd have to say that chick has a ... uh tallywacker.
Now that image might have been subtly altered somewhere along the way but then again maybe no one noticed because the 'headlights' were too bright.

Too funny, someone else did alter the image in a more obvious manner.

"Half the school does it."
Reminds me of a woman who was going up to school to tell off the nun who reprimanded her 15 year old daughter for smoking in class! When my older sister went to Catholic high school students couldn't smoke within 10 blocks of the school if they were in uniform.

"I only have five friends in the whole year." Five? She should be considering herself lucky. that is, if they're actually friends worth having. I had two, maybe three. And one of them didn't even go to my school.

I'm confused and the article is unclear. The article says she blew the whistle on the fad. To me that implies that she "told on the kids" who were involved. In that calse she should not be kicked out of a Catholic school.
Your excerpt says she sold the braceletes! If that is the case she should absolutely be kicked out of a Catholic school. This little girl apparently is part of the problem.

I'm with the mother on this one. yep. I dunno, the Bible says go to your brother first, and if they don't listen THEN go to the 'authorities' in the church. So what'd she do wrong?

This is a really sad testimony for these kids. I have no doubt the other kids in the school know what the rings and bracelets "mean". No more innocents - tragic.

It's *POSSIBLE* - not clear in the story - that she just found out why kids were buying them and why they were such a hot fad, and when she did, she told her mom, and the rest is history.

For whatever reason, the dad isn't mentioned. If he isn't involved, for whatever reason (other than an untimely death) that explains a lot of things, whether it's more the mom's fault or the dad's, doesn't really matter to the kid sometimes.

The mother cares enough to send her child to private school... Where her child sells sex goods.
If I had sold sexual items in school the Catholic school would never had known about it. They'd only be scheduling last rights for me as I lay in my hospital bed. And that's only if they got to me BEFORE my mom told my dad.
But this 'lady' publicized to the world that her daughter was a sex worker rather than correct the behavior problem. There is no comment from her that her daughter did anything wrong at all. We are left with the impression that she approved of her daughter working in the sex trade
So she's not our idea of mother-of-the year. Why don't you speculate about the dad as much as you do about the mom.
You weren't paying attention. I said he's either long gone or the mother doesn't know who he is. Which means that some guy fathered a child and abandoned that child. He should be tracked down and executed.
Oh, I forgot. All women are evil alert! All women are evil alert!
I never said that. My wife is a Godly woman who is a blessing to me and our child in every way. But I will say that all feminists are evil
