Iteresting that it is a Lebanon newspaper publishes an article putting this hyped up scandal in to perspective.
Heaven forbid our objective professional free press do anything of the sort.

Our media considers a substantial portion of that torture (the abortion) a Constitutional right.

Despite Syria's attempt to squeeze whatever life and freedom remained in Lebanon after it's ravishment by Arafat's PLO thugs and the hordes of Shia' lunatics living in the surburbs of Beirut, it still enjoys one of the freest presses in the entire Middle East.
If the plight of the Maronite and Melkite Churches got as much attention from the media as this over-hyped Abu Gharib garbage, perhaps we'd be in a much better spot than we're currently facing.

I think the Arab world is seeing how much of a screaming pariah our media can be and that our press is not interested in reporting what is right, but what will sell, and anything to do political damage to a admin that is trying to help these people for once. Unlike the slick meister who sat at camp David and only talked about it.

Watched a program on the Bataan Death March and Japanese concentration camps on the History Channel today.
Compare to that, the Iraq 'torture' is a prank.
