I know and have met a lot of Cal grads in N. California.
I don't remember a single conservative from my age 65 to the new grads. A few are moderates, and most after the moderate facade is peeled back are anti Americans.

Sometimes the anti Israel feelings have be coaxed out. A simple question/statement like "If Israel wasn't there any more, would there be a Middle East Problem?

I have been surprised at the anti Israel/Jew venom that often flows out when that question is answered by these Cal grads.

Howevever this feeling is not just from liberal college grads.

We have a couple of young conservative relatives who have union people working for them.

From the 30+ age group union worker to the retired union thugs, the hatred of Israel and Jews is often rampant. One of our nephews when he hears these rants against GW, Israel and the Jews, says that it is very easy to think that he is back in Germany in the 1930's with GW representing the Christian opposition to the Nazi Worker Thugs with the old Jewish hatred still alive in these thugs.

I was five units from being a Berkeley Cal grad. During the Peoples Park crap no less. Got sick (some rare bug I picked up on campus, that gave me reoccurring ear infections) and I had to find a job, so I never had the pleasure to get back to that filthy, smelly pigsty. I never got along with the TA's that ran the undergraduate schools, who thought they were gods. They were younger, but no less immature Bill Clinton clones.
