Laura Bush is coming on C-SPAN now.
She is so awesome. Hope that the campaign gives her a lot of coverage. She almost choked up when she said "last campaign."
I had the honor of meeting her once, during the presidential debates in 2000. She has the most amazing presence of anyone I've ever met.
Calm, serene and confident without being cocky. She has an aura and that is a word I've never used until I met her.
They're an amazing couple.
That as a young man, he chose her speaks volumes about HIS character. Even though he is constantly portrayed as a party boy when he was younger, he must have had the good sense to know quality when he met her.
Thanks, alnick. I would have missed it w/o your reminder.
They loved her joke about the Prez promising her she'd never have to make a political speech.
Hmmmm. Laura or TeRaysah. Enough said.
For anyone who hasn't seen the latest video, "You're Still The One", here it is. It highlights what an amazing couple they are.

QUICK! flip to C-Span...they are showing Laura on Leno
Not even a contest. Teresa's uglier than Michael Moore.
Thanks so much for the heads up...I had missed the Leno interview.
I don't watch TV, so I had never actually seen her to recognize her until WTC911. They had a TV going in the office and there was an obviously cabinet-level official speaking, urging calm and all that. I asked who that was and everybody said Laura Bush like I was from Mars.
Well, that's a pleasant change of pace from what we had the prior eight years.
MSNBC showed President Bush's biography this afternoon. I only got to see part of it before I had to leave for church. He was such a cute kid.
Warm and friendly, as opposed to cold, snobbish, and patrician.
