Yes, I know. In Living the Gospel of life the Bishops explain how EV applies to us in America. That section is referring to the legislative process where we have to make incremental steps to reach the goal of outlawing abortion; however, that doesn't change the Catechism where it states that abortion, all abortion, is wrong and not allowed, neither is surrogate motherhood or in-vitro fertilization.

As I explained above, the Church does effectively allow a "life of the mother" exception as a secondary effect based on the principle of legitimate defense. My comment in post #36 was a prediction about the poor rating I anticipate ALL will give the President based on their kooky legislative agenda. This despite the President having what I consider to be a courageous pro-life track record as you posted at the start of this thread.
