Look at this link: Ku band Schedule....This trash shows up on channel 9415?on Dish Network http://204.95.170.171/dishsite/listings/gridone.asp?station_num=16220 . I haven't a clue what it costs, or the workings of satellite t.v....but if the Pacifica dumbasses can do it, it must be relatively easy to do.

Sounds like a great idea. I would imagine that interviews and panels would be pre-recorded to edit out the crosstalk and interruptions... but how many guests will be willing to commit if they know that they will be closely challenged on every statement?

A tangential, but not altogether unrelated idea I've had once upon a time was a news "portal" website that grouped sources by story topic, so a reader could see a variety of news articles, opinion pieces, and press releases from a multitude of sources and therefore determine for themselves where the truth lies amongst the spin.

(Example: a "story" might be something like the finding of the Sarin shell -- under that header would be links to every source that could be found with a related story. The web service would not archive the stories themselves, just provide links to the on-line sources.)

My thoughts? After I've read it, congressman. Talk to you later...

I would love to see a regular topic on a news show:

Congressional Oversight: Hindsight or Foresight?

With all the hearings going on about 9/11, Abu Ghraib, leaked memos, etc., and Congress justifying the hearings under the umbrella of their "oversight" responsibilities, then why hasn't their "oversight" prevented these these things from happening? Instead, they seem to be reacing to events in hindsight, not foresight.

Some oversight, huh?

Sounds like an idea whose time may be here. This is certainly the place to find talented people who are willing to do research and to write. Let me interview a couple of the FOX ladies to anchor, and it will be off to a good start...
