Will read the rest later HOWEVER:

ONE How can any mother or father send their child to the ceaspool that is Berkly

TWO How can any employer hire any graduate from berkley. The Berkley name SCREAMS legal liability. A berkley grad would sue you for any number of potential stupidities.

THREE Why would any college student want to be saddled with the unmarketable Berkley degree in job market competition. All things being equal, a berkly degree is not an asset when there are other university options.

As a graduate student who got my doctoral degree at Berkeley in the Seventies, I can see nothing has really changed from when I was there. Back then it was pro-V.C., pro-Third World communist movements, anti-America and anti-white oppressors, but the tactics and level of discourse were the same. Mindless leftwing vitriol.

The benefit is that it very quickly made the scales fall from my eyes, and opened my mind to the utter hypocrisy of the Left and liberalism. It gave me the ability instantly to discern left-wing nonsense that has stayed with me to this day.

I still remember one of my professor's comments: "When I first came to Berkeley, I considered myself a very liberal person. Ever since then, people have been kicking me to the right, kicking me to the right . . . ."

I was a minority admit who didn't know I was a minority admit until after I got to Berkeley. (Back then, admissions were entirely by quota if you picked an ethnic box.) In my second year there I was solemnly informed by a student member of the minority admissions committee that they should not have admitted me, because I did not properly support the position of people of color at Berkeley and didn't have the proper attitudes. In another great episode, a black African friend of mine was in tears after she was admonished by members of the black students union that she should not hang out with white people (she was born in Guinea, but had grown up in France).

This is the major reason I have never given a penny to Berkeley, and will spit on it till the day I die.

The Electrical Engineering program at Berkeley is among the best in the country. Berkeley EE Graduates are eagerly sought by employers in the industry.

as a student at CAL, i thought it was gonna be pretty bad for me POLITICALLY...but i never questioned the academics at the school. i got there and realized..."hey, it really isn't as bad as i thought"

sure, you see liberals a lot, but you also see lots of educated arguments, debates, etc. etc...basically, just because you go to CAL doesn't mean you're a lefty

and quite frankly, when it comes down to academics, the school is one of the best in the nation...hehe, call it me being biased, but statistics and rankings tend to agree with me...and im sure PLENTY of employers would be satisfied with a berkeley degree.
