I find your sentiment to be neither necessary or sufficient. It really make no sense to me. Why would some strategy (the UN business) trump and electioneering tactic (pulling Bremer over to Kerry's campaign?) Why would one preclude the other? Why would one even contradict the other? You make no sense. Because they don't want to be called on their hypocrisy-- celebrating Bremer as long as he's not in the Bush admin, but seeking his demise while he is?
Face it, you just do not like this war and you let it cloud your judgment. I assume here that you are what you say your are in your moniker and are not something else altogether.
I was analyzing the political implications of their hypocrisy. It had nothing to do with the war itself.

Oh, I misread you there. I think that this will be the next big attack of the Rats: disrupt, compromise and discredit the "handover." I think that the fix is in with Bremer and that the administration may for once acting in a proactive manner.
I do not think at this point that the Democrats care the least in being called on their "hypocrisy." They will do anything and everything that they feel will hurt Bush. They are at once desperate and self assured of their ability to fatally wound the administration.
