Who's face is that between Clinton and serpent-head? That's Rachel Corrie...and I heard she's singing flat.

This is actually a very interesting point, and the British press reported on it a little while ago. There are links between Prime Minister Blair's Labour Party, and the Democratic Party which go back for many years (and parallel the links between the Conservative and Republican Parties); however, the co-operation has fallen away dramatically this year. Usually the Labour Party would send a delegation to the Democratic Convention with several M.P.s and other senior party officials, but this year everything has been dramatically scaled back. Despite being pretty much identical to Senator Kerry on every policy except security, 'sources' have implied that he would prefer President Bush to win (despite being at the opposite end of the spectrum from the President on everything other than security).
As a right-winger, I have very very little time for the Prime Minister, but when even he supports President Bush (albeit very quietly) then one does have to wonder what is so bad about Senator Kerry.

Blair "doesn't know" if he ever met Kerry.
LOL, what a monumental slap in the face!

I actually laughed out loud, alone here in my office at home, when I read that headline. ;-D

True, and I would count it as essential that every British P.M. of whatever political stripe work with whomever the U.S. President is, however, everything I have heard implies that this goes deeper, that Blair would rather have a continuing Bush presidency than a Kerry one. As a Kerry-Clinton-clone (forgive the alliteration), this is very surprising.

That's Rachel Corrie...and I heard she's singing flat. You mean "flat" as in squashed by a bulldozer?
Wasn't she the woman who died protecting the terrorist houses from those bad Israelis?
