Someone messing with switches????
Happened in NY a few weeks ago. Human error......
I hypothesized on an earlier thread that the remote sensing device found in the railbed in Philadelphia last night could have been a trigger to throw a switch down the line a short distance.
There have been two head-ons in Texas this month, one at least in New York, and now two in Europe.
Coincidence?
Given the use of trains (albeit with explosives) in Spain? Perhaps not.
Another point...explosives are not easy to carry around in the U.S. Why worry about 50 pounds of TNT when you can use the combined explosive force of 4-8 Diesel Locomotives?
Didn't someone find an infra red device attached to the tracks on a NY-DC train line this week? The only way that I know that you can have a head on train collision is for someone to mess with the switches (remotely?) and put one of the trains on the wrong track. Is it possible that this is practice for a new wave of terror?
