WASHINGTON - Republican Sen. George Allen blasted Sen. Ernest Hollings, D-S.C., this week for what he called anti-Semitic statements in a column Hollings wrote on Iraq. Hollings denied the charge.
"I denounce and deplore Senator Hollings' anti-Semitic, political-conspiracy statements," Allen, R-Va., said Wednesday. "I strongly repudiate and condemn Senator Hollings' intolerant assertions."

Funny how Charleston always puts Hollings over the top...oldest Jewish community in the country, high numbers of "cannibals" (As Hollings calls them), and filled with trial lawyers. The Citadel is famous, but enrollment is small.
Figures.
Yes, as did Rice, Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, Bill Bennett, etc., etc., etc.
Had they been prominently doing so "for years" as Hollings was discussing?
Jew pawns, the lot of them.
FReepmail me if you want on or off this list.
Is it anti-Semetic to criticize AIPAC?
Any "conservative" to whom AIPAC is such a big bogeyman that he will jump on the bandwagon of an otherwise deplorable leftist (Hollings, Mailer, Vidal, Nader etc.) is an anti-Semite. Unless AIPAC has joined the ADL in attacking the Ten Commandments, creationism, heterosexual marriage, etc. Perhaps you have some information I don't.
But if you're one of those "palaeos" to whom Jewish nationalism is anathema because you're afraid the Messiah is going to supplant the various "gxds" of the "autochthonous" nations, then don't bother. Perhaps this is the "new world order" the "palaeos" spend so much time shouting about? If so, at least you have the United Nations on your side!

Personally, I support Isreal, but I don't understand why they need to have a lobbying group in the USA. After all, they are a foreign government.
Please forgive me for misunderstanding the nature of your criticism, coming as it did on a thread attacking Ernest Hollings for his anti-Israel and anti-Jewish tirade.
Senator Foghorn Leghorn does it again.
