I look at the source and am cautious...I firmly believe something was trucked to Syria and would be most interested in what....

When Bush was threatening war if Iraq didn't fess up on the WMD and the UN inspectors were allowed back in just prior to the war, Israeli intelligence said 'you won't find them there because they've already been shipped to Syria as they were ready for you'. And Israeli intel is VERY GOOD-having discovered Iraq's nuclear reactor back in the eighties, pinpointing the different terrorist leaders with strikes to kill them, they are very good with their intel. It is obvious something happened to them and Syria has always been my belief. I hope Bush drops some bombs down on that Valley where they are. MOAB that place.

If memory serves (and I could be mistaken) but wasn't there a large explosion in the Bekaa Valley some months back?

It was quickly cordoned off by Syrian? and/or Lebanese troops yet vehemently denied by them.

Do I have a faulty memory or did this in fact occur? If it did, it certainly fell off the radar fast. Haven't heard anything more about it.

"We are in for an interesting four years."

Syria - and its colony Lebanon - and Iran will be targets in the second term of President Bush. When he retires in 2009, he will have exported freedom to Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Syria. Maybe Lybia will become a free country in the future, too.

Trust. We agree quite a bit. I remember Truman, but had no opinion of him. Trusted Eisenhower; wasn't sure about Kennedy; grew to distrust Johnson; thought Nixon was mentally ill; Ford was so-so; thought Carter the most naive President in my lifetime; grew to trust Reagan; respected HW, especially actions in Panama, Gulf War, thought his breaking his word about taxes was to get Gulf War vote passed in Congress, which it barely did (i.e. thought HW sacrificed his word for a greater American good), came to believe Clinton was a sociopath; grew to trust George W after much study of the man during 1999 and 2000.

>>>>>>>>>>After all, after Syrians blew themselves up transporting bio weapons in N. Korea,<<<<<<<<<<

Do you really believe that? I think that train was "blowed up" by the good guys. That hole in the ground was awfully big......I think we hit N Korea just to show them we could. Bit by bit, we are starting to hear more about WMDs. Even Kerry acknowledged on Chirs Matthews show that they might yet be found.

I had not thought about it being the good guys. That's too sweet.

I see voters as children, running behind the Pied Piper, jockying for a piece of candy to be thrown to them. It's like you all think, "Sure, he's going to drown us, but I got a pice of candy at least".

If Bush gets the FTAA passed, we are done, not immediately, but incrimentally, if he gets the FTAA passed, the only road to freedom and the Constitution again, is all out war, for our children, grand children, or great grand children who will eventually be forced to fight in a very out numbered manner. I'll not have it, I'll not contribute to it, I'll not vote for the snake that promotes it.

You won't suffer under the FTAA? Come on, get real.
