Statement by BC'04 Campaign Chairman Marc Racicot urging John Kerry to repudiate Rep. Nancy Pelosi
George W. Bush ^ | May 20, 2004

Posted on 05/20/2004 6:17:23 PM PDT by RWR8189

Arlington, VA -- Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Chairman Marc Racicot issued the following statement:

"Minority Leader Pelosi's comments today blaming the President for deaths in Iraq are a reprehensible attempt to blame America for the actions of terrorists, and represent a fundamental misunderstanding of the War on Terror.

"As leader of the Democrat Party, John Kerry needs to repudiate Nancy Pelosi's efforts to blame American deaths in Iraq on the President. No one is to blame for these deaths in Iraq but the terrorists who are trying to prevent freedom from coming to the Middle East.

"As a House Leader, Nancy Pelosi is a top surrogate for Sen. Kerry, and her remarks are now advancing a blame-America-first attitude that Kerry himself has come dangerously close to advocating in the past few weeks.

"President Bush's steady leadership is the reason that we are fighting the terrorists abroad instead of at home. His determination in the face of terrorism stands in stark contrast to Pelosi's political opportunism and blame-America-first attitude."

Pelosi is sure some ugly bitch.

If the eyes are the window to the soul, check out her googles.

She is not of the earth.

Kerry is entirely too dull witted a man to understand what is being said about the arch-traitor Pelosi.

For some reason, I really like Racicot. He's not flashy, but he is well spoken. He doesn't try to talk over everyone's head, but he does make his points very clearly.

It's about damn time that some republicans speak up to the diatribe that these slimy POS democrats are spewing?

It seems that the democrats love their party so much and want to see their man elected that they have forgotten that 9/11 ever occurred? Or, does it matter in their minds?

Very strong and to the point words. It will be interesting to see how the media plays reacts to this.

Oh come now. The media will say that Racicot is just manning the Republican attack machine, and make poor Nancy a helpless victim of it. Glad I could clarify for you. :^)

His speaking skills will begin to show up as the campaign gets underway. Right now, the media can get away with ignoring him, or any other Bush campaign spokesman. Later, if used right, they won't be able to do so.

Marc has a way of speaking in clear paragraphs, without "ahs" and verbal stumbles that is truly superb. He will begin to show his shining talent in this regard as we near the election.

Get ready for Pelosi Galore to put on the strong-woman-being-attacked persona.

Getting chastised by Marc Racicot is like getting beaten to death by a feather.
