Well, as soon as you do that, you have all sorts of Freepers questioning why WE should have a 2nd amendment right and they shouldn't---and don't say they don't have a constitution. It's a real issue here on FR.

Now, I agree that if you SHOW a weapon in public when an American is around, it's lights out. But I don't think we can or should disarm everyone any more than we should prohibit protest marches. We allowed protest marches in Japan, and 100,000 marched against us in May 1946 . . . to no effect.

Thats what the gun control advocates would like to see here. /are you a gun grabber? Or perhaps you think it's ok for you to own guns but not others? A position shared by the Democrats in congress.
